Village life belongs to a different world in a different time.
Experience village life and get a sense of how the majority of Indians actually live for it is in villages that India's most basic business – agriculture - takes place. The work ethic is strong with little time for relaxation, except for the variety of holy festivals and rites-of-passage celebrations. Residents feel a strong sense of village pride and community honor: the reputation of a village depends on the behavior of all its residents.
Our tour will give you an understanding of life in two distinctly different Indian villages. To give you variety, we visit two separate communities: a typical rural village and a tribal village. Our guide will give you an insight into their beliefs, customs (including the role of women), their superstitions, religion and the challenges they face. You will have the opportunity to personally discuss any of these issues with locals through our guide.
